My little girl received her very first Student of the Month lasts year. She is in Kindergarten. My son was diagnosed with ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder) and is now taking medicine to help him focus in school. It took awhile for the medicine to work. One of the disadvantage is losing his appetite. I am proud to say that finally the medicine is working. He has done well in school. He will even receive another Student of the Month this Friday.
Being a Mommy of a special child, it makes you think what you did wrong? It makes me feel I am a failure. He was born premature too exactly six weeks and five days early. There are times that it is very rough to understand him. I know he is trying to let his Mommy pleases but it is very hard for him. It takes for awhile for his brain to catch up not like a typical person. No matter what I will always love him. I will give my life just to protect and be their for him.
As for myself, lasts year I finally started blogging. I love it though it is very time-consuming. The money that I received from blogging really helps my family back home. It also teach me how to save. I hope that GOD will allow me to fulfill my greatest achievement this year is to visit the Philippines.
I am linking this entry to Memory Lane Monday.
